Washcloths
I love to knit washcloths. I started with the most basic of patterns, that I had gotten off a 1960s Carol Duval Newsletter. It is so simple, and garter stitch makes such a nice nubbly texture to wash with. I love to make them in nice cottons with a size 8 needle. Now, Mason Dixon takes things a bit further. You can knit their Ball Band Dishcloth in two colors, and you get just as much texture, if not more. I made this one with Ty Dye yarn in their green colorway, and some leftover unkown yarn I had. It was a lot of fun to knit, and the pattern memorizes easily. I will come back later tonight to add on photos and links to my other favorites.
