WIST (for lack of my own knit progress)

Have you all seen this? It's an illusion scarf, made to resemble piano keys, and I love it! I also just recently saw these socks (scroll down), again a piano keyboard motif, and am thinking about making those some day! And what about the piano keyboard felt bag? These are all really cool looking, I not only want to make them, I want to buy a piano. I used to play, and sold my piano about 15 -18 years ago. I'm missing it now :)

Oooh, look at this easy knit: the big snuggly! It's a knit ruana, that looks really cozy and super simple. I may try making something like that....very drapey and warm looking. I feel like I need one of those for when I'm online....our computer room tends to be chilly.

One of the cutest things I've seen is this crocheted school-bus scarf--makes me wish my kiddies were back in the single digit age-group again!

Look at what Nora Gaughan has been up to: this dodecahedron looks really cool, and the free pattern should be available soon. I really want to make this, it looks like a great study in shaping....a learning experience for me!

Enough WIST-ing! I need to get knitting :)

Oh I can't wait to see what you are knitting first. At least I am not alone feeling I need to get my butt in gear and knit.

You are really good at sniffing out great patterns, aren't you? I love the snuggly and those piano items would make wonderful gifts for a piano player :)

I'm glad you all agree! I do seem to spend at least as much time (if not more) surfing knitters as I do actually knitting. Ravelry is a great enabler, hee hee. (Plus, I know not everyone is on ravelry yet, so I feel good pointing out stuff I find through there....)
Enjoy!

Now I just need about 500 more hours per day.
